This beautiful turquoise-blue mansion on the ulitsa Arbat was once home to the great Pushkin in the months directly following his marriage to Natalia Goncharova. And what a nice place to set up home it is (...Although it only housed the Pushkins for three months)! Inside don some sandals, not so fresh from the set of Ben-Hur, and wind your way round the interior, which is chock full of paintings, memorabilia and even some original manuscripts. Be sure to impress your mates my mentioning that Tchaikovsky lived here for a stint, in 1875.
