The Chinese Pilot

Known in Russian as the Kitaysky Lyotchik Dzhao-Da, the anglicised title, 'The Chinese Pilot Jao-Da', is fractionally easier to pronounce (hence favoured by Moscow Life!). This place is something of two-fingers up to the champagne and hookers clubs that dominate much of Moscow. It is basically a big, dirty student den and as such makes a great venue for getting drunk, listening to live music and collecting random experiences in general. In fact until you've declared your undying love to a beautiful blonde Russian rockstar, been rejected, and then drowned your tears in the mosh pit (all to the sound of Russian uber-rockers, Tequilajazz), then you probably haven't been to the Chinese Pilot at all... |
