The Hungry Duck is without doubt the most famous - or should that be infamous - club in Moscow. This place has ruffled a few feathers in its time: four previous owners have died, shots have been fired inside, brawls were a regular occurence in the 90s, and there have been countless police raids and criminal cases mounted against the Duck - in fact it was forced to close in 2001. Why such a furor? Something to do with the girls getting very drunk and very naked maybe? This is how it works: hundreds of girls file through the door on Ladies Night, get plied with free drinks and 'entertained' by male strippers, before eventually - after the girls have been whipped up into a drunken frenzy of lust - the boys are let in! What happens next, you can probably guess...

I was at the hungry duck twice. once in 1995 and in 1999. It was a disco the 1st time and a strip joint the second time. I liked the disco the best.

realy they closed that club ? i missed it out when i was in moscow last time but am coming again this summer , what is the good places for clubbing ? i like house and trance music , please advice.. :)

Haha! I was there once, 10 yrs ago - dirty but very special place that was,i didn't drink so watched all the madness. Later saw such clubs in Asia, wasn't impressed anymore.

the legendary Hungry Duck... loved it, loved Moscow. What attitude. This city is out of control!

Hungry Duck. Insatiable Birds. Nice. Moscow is THE place to get down and dirty with fantastic looking girls...

this is one of the best clubs i have ever been to. everyone was great to me as it was obvious i was american.

Hungry Duck is the very best. I spent one Christmas eve at the bar, and soon had lots of naked girlfriends.

Wild and crazy place, I larged it and smacked some flesh.

Good God! This place is completely out of control!

Nothing special when i went, but I guess you've almost gotta check it out as it's almost as big a part of Moscow's culture as the bloody Kremlin!

Absolute madness. I think this place has quietened down a bit since the good old days, but it is still bloody mayhem! Go Hungry Duck!
