There's definitely something Fifth Element about this bar with its twinned themes of ancient Egypt and futuristic fantasy, and while relaxing with a beer you may half expect Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich to pop in and order some sushi (before going on to save the world of course). Perhaps it is this improbable combination of genres, complete with space-uniformed waiters and a DJ playing from the lap of a giant pharaoh, that makes this such a great venue for people watching. Observe with curiosity/amusement/envy (delete as appropriate) as 50-year-old bikers stroll in with 20-year-old girls on their arms. When we say bikers we're talking about Armani-suited, perma-tanned, Ducati drivers - not the greasy Harley variety. |
