Propaganda

Propaganda is surely one of the best places in Moscow to go for an unpretentious boogie - and what's more there's a party here every night of the week! Thursdays and Saturdays tend to be the biggest nights, when you're most likely to see a guest DJ from around the world spinning the ones and twos. Hit the bar early for some cheaper beverages (before 11:00pm) and then watch as a cosmopolitan crowd of middle-class Russians, expats and tourists filter in. Tables and chairs are moved away to make room for a makeshift dancefloor and then suddenly, in the space of minutes, this laidback bar becomes party central.

I went tp Propagada back in 2005 after a networking event at the British Embassy, I was Suited and Booted and joined a crowd of about 6 other Brits, We entered Propaganda as a group, All Professional People, i,e Lawyers, Financial Advisors and the likes, After about an hour i was man handled by the bouncers along with 3 of the others, and we were taken outside to find the Police waiting for us, We were accused of stealing a number of Russian Passports from the Women that were in there, We were informed by the bouncers and the Police that if we were to pay $1000 each then we would be let go and could carry on with the evening. Of course this did not happen, were were then taken back to a Police Station and again had to go through about 4 - 5 hours of extorsion before being dropped in the middle of nowhere with no money and expected to fin our way home. I suggest that if you do go to this place then you keep your eyes peeled and are with at least a number of Russian Women, Otherwise you may well get the same treatment.

Good Club, Great Music, Over all was worth a visit. Though its just like every other bar/club out there. Theres nothing that stands out about this place. But was a good night

Nice music, nice crowded people inside. Watch out for the bguards, try to find a english speaking person at the entrance otherwise they may not let you get in. Never seen such a strong cross over in my life...Still feeling it :) There are lots of frequenter inside, if you bug them a lot, they may ask bguards to get you out. If you dont speak russian you are out.

It's a club for students i think. If you dont have anything to do, you can visit but it's a small place and cannot find so much top class girls. You will see lots of small girls who are trying to steal your drink :)

Awesome food, venue, sound system and music. The girls are indescribably hot but they're all ice maidens. Just go to eat, drink and dance and you'll have a great time.

I think Propaganda is an original club in Moscow. You should not leave Moscow before going to Propaganda.

Propaganda is a must for you if you are into great music, great atmosphere and laid-back Russians, who take the day as it comes.

As far as I remember Sunday is gay night at Propaganda - might be worth bearing in mind if you're looking for something up your alley (no bad pun intended).

Everybody who's been to Moscow has been to Propaganda - it's fun, unpretentious, good music and good people (including nice girls;-). One of the best nights out in town.

If you want to pull Russian ambassadors' daughters, this is the place to go. Great night, great girl...

Thursday night is so crowded, that you think half moscow is there. still the place to be.
