Propaganda

|
Propaganda is surely one of the best places in Moscow to go for an unpretentious boogie - and what's more there's a party here every night of the week! Thursdays and Saturdays tend to be the biggest nights, when you're most likely to see a guest DJ from around the world spinning the ones and twos. Hit the bar early for some cheaper beverages (before 11:00pm) and then watch as a cosmopolitan crowd of middle-class Russians, expats and tourists filter in. Tables and chairs are moved away to make room for a makeshift dancefloor and then suddenly, in the space of minutes, this laidback bar becomes party central. |

Face of Putin Sold for $200 000

I went tp Propagada back in 2005 after a networking event at the British Embassy, I was Suited and Booted and joined a crowd of about 6 other Brits, We entered Propaganda as a group, All Professional People, i,e Lawyers, Financial Advisors and the likes, After about an hour i was man handled by the bouncers along with 3 of the others, and we were taken outside to find the Police waiting for us, We were accused of stealing a number of Russian Passports from the Women that were in there, We were informed by the bouncers and the Police that if we were to pay $1000 each then we would be let go and could carry on with the evening. Of course this did not happen, were were then taken back to a Police Station and again had to go through about 4 - 5 hours of extorsion before being dropped in the middle of nowhere with no money and expected to fin our way home. I suggest that if you do go to this place then you keep your eyes peeled and are with at least a number of Russian Women, Otherwise you may well get the same treatment.
