Places like Kambala are fast turning Moscow into the best place for fine-dining anywhere in the world. The entrance to this maritime restaurant is intricately carved out to resemble a ship's stern, and inside seats carved like rowing boats and plenty of rigging, canvas and wooden beams continue the theme. And the food? The fish here are all kept on ice (not frozen), before being cooked so you know you're only getting only the freshest fins. Regarding the prices the maitre d' reliably informed us that it Kambala is a 'democratic' restaurant. That's Russian for you can spend a lot - or you can spend a sh*t load!
