Nine Inch Nails Rock Moscow

Despite experiencing some problems with their visas (those forms aren't very rockstar friendly!), Trent and his band finally arrived in Moscow in time to kick off their European tour at the Luzhniki Stadium. The double award winning Nine Inch Nails (or NIN to their friends) are currently promoting their latest album Year Zero, which - needless to say - is a dark concept album.

As well as tracks taken from Year Zero, NIN harked back to some of their classic material which heralded them as the forefathers of the industrial rock scene in the late eighties and early nineties. Even your mum will have recognised the final track 'Hurt', thanks to an extremely powerful cover version released in 2002 by Johnny Cash, which made radio play worldwide and inspired Trent Reznor himself to get back in the recording studio.

Next up the Nine Inch Nails will be travelling up to St. Petersburg for a gig at Sport Palace Yubileiny. Another highlight should be their performance at the Sziget Festival in a couple of weeks in Budapest.
