The word 'monster' hardly does justice to this gargantuan beast of a hotel complex, with its staggering thirty floors comprising of two thousand rooms for hire. And whereas it's fair to say that the receptionist is unlikely to remember you by name, if you don't mind the impersonality of staying with 3,499 other guests, you should otherwise get on just fine with the Izmailovo Gamma-Delta. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the facilities on offer (which ensures the Gamma-Delta's popularity), and the periphery location isn't as big a handicap as you might think. You are only six metro stops from the Kremlin, and the hotel's perch on the banks of the Serebryano-Vinogradnye ponds puts you right next to the Izmailovo market - a major tourist attraction in itself.
